HOW TO GET WHAT YOU WANT FROM LIFE
People across South Liverpool are being helped to achieve their goals in life by the newly formed Streets Ahead team. The project, led by JET South Liverpool, aims to give people the individual support they require to benefit from the local jobs boom and the new training and education opportunities that are available in the area.

Streets Ahead is all about recognising that every person is an individual with complex needs and circumstances. We have built a team of experts from a range of local agencies, who can give that individual the tailored help and support they need to achieve what they really want in life.

Our Streets Ahead team are going out onto the streets of South Liverpool to visit people in their homes and community centres. Many are unaware of the level of help that is available to them. For example, our team can help with childcare, confidential benefit and tax credits advice, funding for interview suits or tools for a job, job application and interview preparation and a whole lot of other things besides. In fact, they can help people overcome almost any barrier that is stopping them achieving their potential.
