Prinovis

Prinovis
Prinovis is the new name for the company that has started building a new state of the art rotogravure printing plant on the Liverpool International Business Park in Speke Halewood.

To date, the company has been using the brands of Gravureworx and Arvato Bertelsmann for the new facility that will employ 400 people when it opens in 2006 and up to 1,000 people by 2010. The new joint venture company Prinovis that began operating on 10 May has been formed by merging the German media groups Arvato Bertelsmann, Gruner+Jahr and Axel Springer. Chairman Stephan Krauss explained that the name was created from the terms print, innovation and vision.

JET South Liverpool and partners Jobcentre Plus have been supporting recruitment for the new printing plant since late 2004. To date 29 staff have been recruited, many of whom are already undergoing training at the company's printing plant in Nuremburg in Germany at Partnership for Learning in Speke.
