JET South Liverpool Achieves 'matrix' Quality Standard
In January 2004 JET South Liverpool became one of the first organisations in Liverpool to achieve the Guidance Accreditation Board's 'matrix' quality standard.

The standard is designed to enable organisations to:

  • Ensure consistency and clarity in their provision of information, advice and guidance so everyone understands what the organisation is striving to achieve;
  • Self assess and check performance and measure against other quality benchmarks such as the Charter Mark and Investors in people;
  • Manage the process more effectively and make more efficient use of training and development resources;
  • Fast track the matching of skills with needs, increasing efficiency and speed of response;
  • Improve recruitment and retention, boost morale and motivation and encourage loyalty;
  • Gain the confidence of staff as a responsible employer, committed to its people;
  • Gain valuable national recognition through rigorous accreditation process.

The matrix quality standard has universal application and relevance to the private, public, community and voluntary sectors.
