Helping LIfT volunteer Sid (left) celebrate his 60th birthday are (L to R): his wife Lynn, LIfT Co-ordinator John Duvall and Lynnie Williams from Streets Ahead/JET South Liverpool.

JET South Liverpool and LIfT having been working closely together on a range of support services since the opening of the Belle Vale shop in 2002. The introduction of a permanent presence in the JET shop further strengthens the relationship and means that local residents can even access transport advice in the Shopping Centre on Saturday mornings!

LIfT currently operates a fully accessible minibus with all necessary safety equipment as well as managing the minibus on behalf of the Liverpool South Action Team for Jobs. Other services available include transport solutions, bicycle and scooter hire and advice about the best public transport routes and costs. They are even able to arrange regular pick-ups to help people get to college, a training centre or place of employment.
