The South Liverpool Action Team has been re-launched and is opening a brand new fully fitted shop in Garston Village which will offer a handy local service to unemployed people in the area.

The new shop, set to open at the end of August, will be open every day from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

The Action Team offers local residents:

• free access to the internet for job search
• information on a whole host of local vacancies only available to Action Team clients
• a Personal Advisor offering 1-2-1 advice & support on employment
• a personal job account which can be used for interview clothes, travel to work costs, food vouchers
• and much, much more!

South Liverpool Action Team, which is run by Reed in Partnership, works with unemployed people living in Belle Vale, Garston, Speke, St Michaels, Dingle & Granby. Over the last 3 months the South Liverpool Action Team has helped over 70 local people into work.
