There are five area-based JET services in Liverpool, together with a city centre employer support unit known as The People Pool, which can offer a range of professional services tailored to meet individual business demands:

1: Pre-selection and screening of job applicants
JET South Liverpool can save employers valuable time by helping to screen job applicants, either by telephone or by sifting job application forms to make sure that they are able to select the most suitable people to interview for their job vacancies.

2: Compiling and dispatching job descriptions
The staff employed JET South Liverpool have a wide range of experience of compiling accurate and up to date job descriptions and person specifications. They will work with employers to develop job descriptions that accurately reflect the work to be undertaken by the successful candidate, ensuring that the "right person is matched with the right job".

3: Offering links to training agencies and the design of special courses
JET South Liverpool has access to a comprehensive network of training and education providers across Liverpool and Merseyside. By working with local employers and training providers JET South Liverpool can ensure that job applicants are able to access training that meets business demand. This can include helping to design special courses that create a supply of appropriately skilled job applicants.
