South Liverpool Customer Service Awards 2004

With customer expectations continually rising and the announcement that Liverpool will be European Capital of Culture in 2008, the business community in South Liverpool is becoming increasingly aware of the value and role that Customer Service and Consumer Affairs professionals play in the achievement of business success.

In 2004 JET South Liverpool organised the first Annual South Liverpool Customer Service Awards Ceremony in recognition of the tremendous growth in the customer service sector in South Liverpool.

Thanks to the regeneration activity that has taken place, an area that was once known as "the engine room of Merseyside" is now an area with diverse employment opportunities where people want to "live, work and play".

The Awards were established with support from Liverpool City Council's Neighbourhood Renewal Fund but they are now entirely funded by private sector sponsorship.
